Senators Must Support "Educational" Filibuster

Tell them to vote against cloture so that the Senators who are launching the filibuster can have an opportunity to:

cut through the veil of media coverage,

speak directly to the American people,

to wake them up to this critical juncture for our country,

so that the people can rally their Senators to vote "NO."

Why?

So that people will know a vote for Alito or Cloture is a vote for George Bush, perpetual war, the President's right to drag you off to jail in the middle of the night without a lawyer, a hearing or even telling your family!  

A vote for Alito or cloture is a vote

against environmental protection
against equal rights for women and minorities!
against the right for collective bargaining
against Social Security
against National Health care
against a just tax system
against restraint of the executive

Let the filibuster go on and the Senators who lead will persuade the American people directly to urge their Senators to vote NO.
